There’s a lot happening around Miami this Halloween, but did you know that some of the most exciting activities are actually taking place at the Zoo Miami? Well don’t worry because we’re here to make sure that you have everything you need to know about the Halloween events at the Zoo Miami this year. These events are the perfect opportunity for you and your family to get out of the house, explore the zoo, and do something different this Halloween.
Tickets for Zoo Miami events can be purchased from the Zoo Miami website, where you can also find additional information about each event. Tickets for some events may be limited, so be sure to pick up yours early. The Zoo Miami is located at 1 Zoo Boulevard, 12400 SW 152 Street in Miami.
Starting at 8 pm on Friday, October 16 and running until midnight, the Monster Masquerade provides you and your special guests with a spooky stroll through the zoo, passing by living and non-living things and tons of scary fun. There will also be complimentary open bars and treats for you to indulge in.
Then take a walk through Dr. Wilde’s Creepy House before heading to the exciting costume contests. Finally, the night culminates in a fun monster dance party, featuring the latest music.
Admission includes open bars, food, musical entertainment, entry into the 7,000-square-foot haunted house, and more. Group tickets are available for a reduced rate when coming with more than five people. Keep in mind that group tickets won’t be available at the door, and non-member tickets will be more expensive at the door than when purchased prior to the event online.
Do something really different this Halloween and attend the Zoo Boo at Zoo Miami. As one of South Florida’s premier Halloween events, this highly anticipated celebration includes admission to the zoo and fun trick or treating for families and their children aged 12 and younger. You’ll also be treated to special performances and participation in a fun costume contest. Then watch as the animals get a special Halloween treat.

Spooky Zoo Nights
This October 30 and 31 from 7 to 11 pm at Spooky Zoo Nights, it doesn’t matter how brave you are, Dr. Wilde’s Creepy House is sure to send shivers down your spine. A tram ride follows a terrifying trail littered with the living dead and eerie scenes. Younger children and the faint of heart can still have fun riding the ghostly carousel and enjoying the candy stations at the Children’s Zoo.
Admission to Spooky Zoo Nights is $9.95 for zoo members and $10.95 for non-members. Note that carousel rides are $2 a ride.
