Relax at South Pointe Park

Everyone loves a good park and South Pointe Park is easily one of the best in the area. With beautiful trails and beaches, there’s plenty of room for all kinds of sports and activities.

Take a relaxing stroll down one of the walking paths and then grab a bite to eat at the food stand. You can invite friends to play a game of Frisbee out on the grass or challenge them to a volleyball match on the beach. Did we mention that there’s also a miniature water park?

Enjoy quality shopping and fine dining or just walk around and enjoy all of the historic Art Deco architecture that graces the buildings throughout the area.

Explore the Wolfsonian

The Wolfsonian Museum houses a large and diverse collection that dates back to 1885 all the way to 1945. Here you can find anything from industrial-design objects, rare books, a number of paintings, and more.

Located at 1001 Washington Avenue, this museum is open every day except for Wednesday and has longer hours on Thursday as well as free admission from 6 pm to 9 pm on Friday. Visit their website for up-to-date exhibit information and admission pricing.

Walk Down Lincoln Road

Unique shops, sidewalk cafés, and more line Lincoln Road as part of the Lincoln Road Mall. A large pedestrian promenade, Lincoln Road is one of the busiest streets in Miami Beach. Here you’ll be able to find new and unique stores in addition to lively bars, great restaurants, and beautiful galleries. It’s also a good place if you ever feel like doing some serious people watching.

Experience the Holocaust Memorial

The Holocaust Memorial features many sculptures, inscriptions, and other artwork all dedicated to honor the memory of the 6 million people who died at the hands of the Nazis. The memorial was planned by a small group of Holocaust survivors in 1985 and officially opened in 1990.

The memorial is best known for the sculpture of Love and Anguish, which depicts an enormous arm covered by more than 100 figures and surrounded by other freestanding sculptures.

Bass Museum of Art

Another great museum located in Miami Beach is the Bass Museum of Art. Home to a large collection of contemporary art exhibits and educational programs, this museum is the perfect way to spend an afternoon learning and exploring the private collection of John and Johanna Bass, two Miami Beach residents. The museum also features a number of pop-up galleries around the area, which is why it’s one of our favorite top Miami Beach attractions.
