honda accord vs subaru legacyThe Honda Accord and Subaru Legacy have always provided an impressive driving experience throughout Miami, Hialeah, and Doral, and it’s safe to say that their 2017 models will be no different.

To help you see which vehicle offers the exceptional driving experience you want, Braman Honda Miami has compared the 2017 Honda Accord and Subaru Legacy below.

Honda Accord vs. Subaru Legacy Safety

If there’s one thing the 2017 Honda Accord and Subaru Legacy are known for, it’s their safety. Both vehicles are top choices for all types of drivers because of their dependability and reliability thanks to their impressive safety features.

The 2017 Honda Accord features available Honda Sensing™. This suite of driver assist technologies can alert you to slow down and even automatically stop the car to help you avoid an accident. Some of these technologies include the Collision Mitigation Braking System™, the Road Departure Mitigation System, the Lane Keeping Assist System, and Adaptive Cruise Control.

The Accord also comes equipped with Honda LaneWatch™. This uses a camera located on the passenger-side mirror to display a live video of your blind spot so you know when it’s safe to change lanes.

The Subaru Legacy includes a suite of driver assist technologies as well. However, it doesn’t offer a safety feature like Honda LaneWatch™ for increased visibility or peace of mind.

Cutting-Edge Features and Technologies

honda accord vs subaru legacyBoth the 2017 Honda Accord and Subaru Legacy feature various amenities to better ensure your comfort. Each sedan offers a dual-climate control system, heated seats, and power-adjustable seats with lumbar support.

On top of that, the Accord and the Legacy have advanced infotainment systems. The one in the 2017 Accord features everything you need to enjoy the road ahead. When equipped, the system can let you play music from SiriusXM® Satellite Radio, Pandora® Internet Radio, and your mobile device. Plus the infotainment system in the Accord includes smartphone integration technologies so you can stay connected and use some of your favorite mobile apps while you’re behind the wheel.

The infotainment in the Subaru Legacy comes with many music and entertainment features as well. Unfortunately, it’s not as advanced as the system in the Accord. The Legacy’s infotainment feature doesn’t offer smartphone integration technologies.

Smooth and Powerful Performance

One of the biggest things that makes a sedan a top choice for drivers is its performance, and that’s something both the 2017 Honda Accord and the Subaru Legacy understand.

When you hit the gas in Accord, the only thing you’ll feel is a smooth, powerful performance. The sedan’s standard engine produces 185 horsepower and works with an available Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) to deliver smooth shifts and a seamless performance. Plus, if you’re looking for even more power, the Accord offers an available V6 engine that gets 278 horsepower.

The Subaru Legacy provides a smooth performance as well with its CVT. However, you’ll need to sacrifice power for it. The standard engine option in the Legacy only delivers 175 horsepower, and its available 6-cylinder engine only gets 256 horsepower.

Which is Right for You?

With a decent performance and impressive technologies and features, the Subaru Legacy can deliver a good driving experience. But if a good experience isn’t enough for you, you may want to take a closer look at the new Honda Accord. It’s more powerful and offers more advanced features that are sure to provide the excellent driving experience you want.
