Honda Civic vs. Kia Forte Performance
When driving through Miami, the 2016 Honda Civic can produce a powerful, efficient, and smooth performance. It’s powered by a standard 2.0-liter I-4 engine that gets 158 horsepower. The Civic also offers a 1.5-liter turbocharged I-4 engine. Designed to deliver a great sport performance, this engine produces up to 174 horsepower.
A continuously variable transmission as well as an improved suspension system and power steering system work with these engines to create a smooth and seamless driving experience.
There are two engine options available for the Kia Forte as well. While capable of producing an impressive performance, they lack power. Its standard 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine only gets 146 horsepower, and its available 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine only gets 173 horsepower.
Interior Comfort and Dimensions
The 2016 Honda Civic and the Kia Forte are both equipped with beautifully designed interiors. These sedans offer heated seats that are supportive the ensure comfort for those long commutes. They feature an available Dual-Zone Automatic Climate Control System as well.
The Civic also offers a spacious interior to keep passengers comfortable. Overall, it has up to 97.8 cubic feet of passenger volume. It also includes 42.3 inches of legroom in the front seats and 37.4 inches of legroom in the back seats.
The Kia Forte has a roomy interior as well, but compared to the Honda Civic, it does lack a bit of space. The Forte only has 96.2 cubic feet of interior space and only offers 35.9 inches of rear seat legroom. Its front seats, however, it offers comparable legroom with 42.2 inches to stretch out and relax.
