2015 Honda Crosstour Review
The 2015 Honda Crosstour has loads to offer today’s buyer. From the outside, the excellent style of the vehicle is the epitome of a crossover. A perfect middleman between the Civic and the CR-V, the Crosstour is an excellent size for those wishing to gain more breathing room without sacrificing maneuverability and ease of parking.
And along with the smooth lines of the exterior and the graceful overall look of the vehicle, there’s a lot going on inside the vehicle that makes it one of the favorites on the market today.
Power and Functionality
The 2015 Honda Crosstour offers two engine options: an inline four-cylinder aluminum alloy 16-valve DOHC i-VTEC engine that produces 192 horsepower and 162 lb-ft of torque and a V6 aluminum alloy 24-valve SOHC i-VTEC engine that produces 278 horsepower and 162 lb-ft of torque. These engines are paired with either a five-speed automatic transmission or a six-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters.
The vehicle offers Real Time Four-Wheel Drive, Active Noise Cancellation, and Active Sound Control as well. And the smooth ride of the vehicle is thanks to the double wishbone front suspension and multi-link rear suspension as well as the power-assisted rack-and-pinion steering.
The Crosstour offers an extensive list of both active and passive safety features that are standard as well as many that are optional. The standard features are Vehicle Stability Assist with Traction Control, an anti-lock braking system, Electronic Brake Distribution, Brake Assist, a rearview camera with guidelines, a Tire Pressure Monitoring System, and daytime running lights. The optional features are Forward Collison Warning, Lane Departure Warning, and a multi-angle rearview camera with dynamic guidelines.
